Pepperpalooza in Charlton
(w/ Atrosious Family, 12 step program,
Bodice Ripper, Bottlefight, Clot, dogleg, Sheepfish,
Whiskey Chapel, Whiskey Down.)

There are no photos from this gig, but I do remember

Steve Cummings (Bottlefight) really and truly sloshed yelling,
"Hey, who wants to run up on stage and flash a moon?"
We all kinda went "Nah, you go right ahead." So off Steve went
to the stage. There was a cheer leading thing
going on, on the stage and then there was Steve,
with his pants around his ankles and his ass
flashing everyone. Good times.

Wormfest 2
I volunteered to shoot the second Wormfest,
Jim Cosgrove climbed on board. Together we captured,
as best we could, the spirit of Wormtown. It would be
the last time I would see Better Friends Than Lovers play live.

I don't remember much about making this record,
but I do remember it was fun, and that we had a pretty cool time.

              The Christmas Record

Barry Dennis (former agent for The Curtain Society and
then owner
of the Silvertone Cafe) said, "I love Christmas records.
We should make a Worcester Christmas comp, I'll pay for it."
This was in late September. Roger LaVallee and I
donated studio time, Greg Wright schlepped a bunch of
nice pre-amps and mics, augmenting my studio setup.
We slammed the bands to get to the October deadline,
or else the disc wouldn't come out on time.
Our contribution can
be heard on the compilation Pathology
