The Official History of Instant Dogma

(Woodrose, snakes & ladders, Freak Music,
Punk Rock Treehouse and everything else.)

2005

So we gigged
and we gigged
and we gigged.
But the truth is the momentum was starting to fade.
I was still doing Wormtown Weds. and Loose Salute. Greg was
enjoying a new found relationship. John began playing
bass with Das Happening, along with Drew Prescott
and Jason
Macierowski. We were starting to splinter.
On top of that, recording the official follow up to
Staring at The Sun was proving to be sporadic.

1st row - The Spoilers,
2nd row - Standard Deviation, James Keyes, Jake (Reserve) and Chrissy Spoiler

3rd row - Bottlefight, 4th row - Musclecah

Meanwhile the studio was going gangbusters.
In a handful of months I had recorded projects with The Spoilers,
James Keyes, Musclecah, Standard Deviation,
The Kids at The Back of The Bus, Dan Chauvin and Bottlefight.
I was able to upgrade and buy some spiffy equipment.

I had already recorded some metal stuff with Bodice Ripper
and suddenly word got out and I began recording punk
bands on the cheap. Hoodrat, The Flicks, Slitstitch
Public Uproar and others would find their way to Toad Hall.

And I began doing a lot of live sound, Ralph's,
Lucky Dog and various punk shows.

It was an exciting time.

Finally on November 4th
our fourth official album was completed.

Because of manufacturing issues it would
be several months before it was available

Next
snakes & ladders retire, no more tape
and the end of Wormtown Wednesday
