According to The Nez, a “Personal Las Vegas” is when
you reach a phase of your art or music that is not
the final destination but an essential part of the progress,
a transitional point, such as when Elvis was doing
his Vegas thing with the jumpsuits.

he went through his “shaman ski instructor” phase.
