What is Freak Music and why is that woman
holding that strange aluminum foil ball?

There are answers to both questions.

Freak Music is a recording based musical clearing house,
for material that may be inappropriate for other projects
or just polite society.

The woman was my mother, Monica.
I asked her to hold that strange aluminum foil ball.

Freak Music has been influenced

Frank Zappa (duh), Miles Davis, Edgard Varese, Don Van Vliet,
The Fugs, The Firesign Theater, Tom Lehrer, Gong, Harry Partch,
The Residents, Mike Oldfield, Charles Mingus, Lalo Schifrin,
Ron Grainer, Gil Scott-Heron, George Gruntz, Bob Fripp,
Pink Floyd and others.

Participants have included  –

Greg Sullivan, Pete Zolli, Bret H. Hart, Bob Jordan,
Dave Menard, Andrea Cifizzari, Keith Prescott
and some folks who would just like me to keep quiet.

The creative model and philosphy is this -
"Might as well hear what happens."
