The Numbskulls second project

After recording the first ep in a trilogy with Roger Lavallee,
the Skulls decided to try a hybrid project - recording
at Toad Hall then mixing with Raj at Tremolo Lounge.
The mix sessions were a blast. It was a real hight point.

Great songs and kick ass playing.

Scary Toys

Monique

Monique Wilkins had been a fixture at Wormtown Wednesday
and we had been cordial. She asked if she could record
some demos and we set up some sessions. At some point we began
talking about doing a band as a one off. She was itching to get her
name out there, and after doing a bunch of country stuff, Greg and I
had been wanting to get back to some crunchy rock. Over a
couple of months, Monique, Greg and I put together the
Scary Toys CD. Joy was shelved when other projects began
to take precedent. It is available now, for the first time

Air Dogma died

That beast did all the snakes & ladders gigs from 2001 on.
It got us back from the infamous Boston snow gig and
made a safe return  from The Wormtown /Noho showdown,
with a blown tire and a can of fix a flat. That thing was a monster.
Summer-Fall

Conceived in an after show conversation, between me and Pete DeGraaf,
behind The Lucky Dog Music Hall. The idea was simple, ask a bunch
of bands for a hundred bucks to record one song for a comp, give the
band sixty discs. If the band sells them, they recoup and change. Or they can
give them away, whatever. This would allow us to do a full CD run. The inspiration
came from the Worcester comp, It's Your Local Music. And that had been
a creative and critical success. We spread the word and I recorded a ton of bands.
Of course I sleazed a couple of my projects in. By December it was done,
soon would come the CD release show(s) and massive promotion.
